Azerbaijan Launches Anti-Terrorist Measures in Nagorno-Karabakh

In a recent video released by the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, smoke can be seen rising from an area that Azerbaijan claims is occupied by Armenian forces in the disputed territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The region, located within Azerbaijan, has experienced ongoing conflicts between Azerbaijan and Armenia since the Soviet period. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has also criticized the country’s reliance on Russia for security, citing the Russian Federation’s own need for weapons and ammunition.

Russia Calls for Ceasefire and Diplomatic Solution

Amidst the recent escalation of conflict, Russia’s foreign ministry has urged both Azerbaijan and Armenia to return to a ceasefire and seek a diplomatic resolution to the conflict.
