Autocado: Chipotle’s Cutting-Edge Robot to Revolutionize Avocado Preparation

Chipotle is experimenting with a cutting-edge solution to expedite the preparation of their popular avocado. The renowned Mexican grill has introduced Autocado, a revolutionary robot that aims to slice, core, and peel avocados at twice the speed of human workers.

This sophisticated device, developed in partnership with robotics company Vebu, can hold up to 25 pounds of avocados at once. It is currently being tested at the Chipotle Cultivate Center in Irvine, California. The company plans to deploy the Autocado robots in its restaurants later this year, according to CNBC.

To ensure impeccable guacamole quality, Chipotle collaborated closely with certified training managers to train the Autocado in the precise avocado preparation techniques followed by the chain.
