Authorities Call on Public to Assist in Identifying Suspects in Recent West Hollywood Armed Robberies

Authorities are seeking the assistance of the public in locating the individuals responsible for a series of armed robberies in West Hollywood, including one that occurred in the early hours of Thursday.

The most recent incident took place shortly after midnight outside Craig’s, a restaurant located at the 8800 block of Melrose Avenue. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and eye-witness reports provided this information.

The suspects, described as males in their late teens or early 20s, at least one of whom was armed, fled with a victim’s watch in a vehicle driven by a third suspect. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

On July 19th, around 12:40 a.m., three armed suspects emerged from a black SUV and approached a man walking on the sidewalk in the 800 block of Larrabee Street, just one block east of the Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards intersection. The victim was forcibly pushed against a fence before being robbed.

To aid in the identification of the suspects, detectives released surveillance footage of the July 19th robbery to the public. It is unclear whether the same individuals were involved in both incidents.

If you have any information regarding these armed robberies, please contact Detective Candie Gonzales at West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station by calling 310-358-4011 or sending an email to [email protected]. To submit an anonymous tip, please call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
