Author explains Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision not to return to the UK tied to curtsy.

Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 42, are being rumored to not return to the UK due to a potential clash with Kate Middleton, 41, when Prince William, 41, becomes king. Royal biographer Andrew Morton, known for his collaboration with Princess Diana on “Diana: Her True Story,” made the claim during an interview on Sky News’ “Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips.” He expressed his doubt about Markle curtsying to Middleton and stated that the couple has their own lives in California.

Morton further elaborated that Harry and Markle have established their own identities, influence, and businesses. According to royal protocol, Markle would only be required to curtsy to Middleton once she becomes queen. The New York Post reached out to Morton and Markle for comment on the matter.

Harry recently announced his solo trip to the UK where he will attend the WellChild awards in London before joining Markle in Germany for the Invictus Games. However, it has been reported that he will not have an audience with his father, King Charles III, as the latter supposedly has no time in his schedule to meet him. Furthermore, rumors circulate that William and Middleton are nervous about potential outbursts from Harry during his visit.

It remains unclear if Harry will participate in any official remembrance ceremonies for Queen Elizabeth II’s one-year anniversary since her passing on September 8. In a recent Netflix series about the Invictus Games, Harry criticized the lack of support he received from the royals following his mother’s death in 1997. He expressed his sadness over the absence of a support system or expert advice during that difficult time.

Despite the upcoming trip, Harry and Markle were seen enjoying themselves at a Beyoncé concert in California. While social media users speculated that Harry appeared bored, the couple seemed unbothered by the trip and showed their support for a different monarch.
