The authorities have charged a 31-year-old Syrian refugee with attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed four young children and two adults at a playground in Annecy, France, on Thursday. The suspect, whose name has not been released, has permanent residency in Sweden and a 3-year-old daughter living there. He was also charged with armed resistance and is currently in custody, having refused to cooperate with investigators.
