Anthony Mackie has expressed his interest in reuniting with his long-time Marvel co-stars, Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan, while also bringing another Avenger into the mix to stir things up.
“I would love for the three of us to be in a situation with [Chris] Hemsworth,” Mackie stated in an interview with Inverse, published on Wednesday. “I believe the four of us would create utter chaos.”
Mackie first appeared as Sam Wilson/Falcon in the 2014 “Captain America” sequel, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” which starred Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America.
Since then, Mackie has primarily shared the screen with Evans and Stan, who has portrayed Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier since the release of the first “Captain America” movie in 2011.

The interactions between Sam and Bucky in “Captain America: Civil War” inspired the 2021 Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” which focused on these two characters.
Although Mackie and Hemsworth (Thor) have co-starred in several “Avengers” films, their characters have not had many on-screen interactions.
While Evans’ run as Captain America seemingly concluded in “Avengers: Endgame,” Mackie, Stan, and Hemsworth are all set to reprise their superhero roles.
Mackie will star in “Captain America: Brave New World,” Stan will appear in the ensemble film “Thunderbolts,” and Hemsworth will return as the God of Thunder, although an official project announcement has not yet been made.

Outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mackie and Stan had cameo appearances in Evans’ action film “Ghosted” released in 2023.
In an interview with Insider in April, following the movie’s release, Evans mentioned that it was “easy” to get his co-stars to help him out.
“Just one text and they were on board,” Evans stated. “Those guys really showed up for me.”
“I want to collaborate with those guys on-screen again,” Mackie stated, expressing hope that the trio will work together in the future.
