Airbnb Guests Left Terrified After Discovering Secret Tunnels

Two young women have become internet sensations on TikTok after sharing their unsettling experience at an Airbnb in Portland, Oregon. Tierra Burris and Scarlet Wolf had initially booked a two-week stay at the rental without knowing about the eerie surprises that awaited them.

Their viral video, which has amassed almost 5 million views, begins with Burris explaining that the owners had provided the wrong address, causing them to struggle to find the home. “They gave us an address for a place that doesn’t exist,” recounts Burris. Eventually, they find their way inside the house and initially admire its beauty. However, they quickly notice some peculiarities, such as the absence of blinds on the windows. To make matters more challenging, they were unable to enter through the front door but had to use a different entrance that led to a bedroom. Apparently, there was a hidden key that the owners failed to mention. Another unexpected key was found nearby, concealed within slabs of concrete.

Returning inside the house, they proceed to highlight various strange features. Burris draws attention to “strange tunnels, holes, and ways” located within the property. They reveal several hidden closets, peepholes, and even hidden tunnels within closets. Upstairs, they come across several doors that do not close properly and have locks on the outside. They provide viewers with a glimpse of a basement, mentioning a few secret rooms and another tunnel. Despite these alarming discoveries, they note that the home boasted some impressive features, such as original hardwood floors and beautiful shower heads.

As they explore the basement, they find that the lights do not work and come across more secret rooms and a man-sized tunnel. Burris mentions the presence of an active serial killer in the area, Jesse Lee Calhoun, which understandably adds to their concern. They express that they had no intention of venturing into these bizarre tunnels, holes, or secret closets, especially considering the hefty price tag of $3,500 for their stay. Burris later shares in a separate video that they were given a full refund.

The video sparked a wave of concern among viewers, with many expressing relief that Burris and Wolf managed to escape the unsettling situation unharmed. Some commented on the strange features, emphasizing that while unusual, some of these may be common in older homes. Despite the differing opinions, it’s undeniable that the girls’ experience at the Portland Airbnb was certainly out of the ordinary.
