Levi emphasized his longstanding criticism of the exploitative systems in the entertainment industry and highlighted the necessity of the strike to protect the rights and working conditions of artists and production staff.

However, Levi acknowledged the importance of fans and their support for the industry, expressing his belief that artists should be able to engage with them during the strike.

SAG-AFTRA members recently joined forces with the Writers Guild of America (WGA) in the ongoing strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).

During the strike, actors are restricted from attending premieres, festivals, and award shows, as well as discussing their past projects.

Levi made a joke about these restrictions while appearing at Comic-Con Manchester, expressing frustration over not being able to talk about his previous work.
