Aug. 4 (UPI) — South Korean girl group Twice celebrates yet another achievement as their music video for the song “I Can’t Stop Me” surpasses 500 million views on YouTube.
The K-pop stars took to Twitter to express their joy and gratitude after their video achieved this incredible milestone.
“I Can’t Stop Me” becomes Twice’s sixth music video to reach 500 million views, joining the ranks of “Likey,” “Fancy,” “What is Love?,” “TT,” and “Cheer Up.”
The visually stunning “I Can’t Stop Me” music video was initially released in October 2022 and features futuristic and floral-inspired visuals, showcasing the members of Twice dancing on a subway platform.
The song is part of Twice’s album Eyes Wide Open and holds a special significance for the group. “This song has a very clear mood, which helped us find guidance and direction in sculpting our entire album,” shared Twice’s Nayeon in an interview with Hypebae.
Twice, composed of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, recently delivered captivating performances of their hit songs “Moonlight Sunrise” and “Alcohol-Free” on Today.
Furthermore, Jihyo is set to make her solo debut with the album Zone on August 18.
