Xbox just revealed a new edition of one of its iconic gaming accessories in collaboration with Warner Bros. to commemorate an upcoming movie. The new release is an Xbox controller made entirely of chocolate. You can’t use it for gaming, but you can eat it as it is crafted from 100% chocolate and is wrapped in a golden wrapper in reference to the golden tickets from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. The movie, titled Wonka, serves as a prequel to Roald Dahl’s classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and features Timothée Chalamet as the chocolatier himself.



To win the “(X)box of Chocolates,” as stated in the Xbox release, fans have to enter a sweepstakes by following Xbox on X and retweeting the tweet announcing the contest. The sweepstakes runs from Nov. 13 – Dec. 14 and includes not just the chocolate controller, but also five Xbox-themed chocolate truffles and the chance to win a replica Xbox Series X made of chocolate.

This year has seen numerous high-profile collaborations, especially with brands that appeal to kids. From Barbie products to The Super Mario Bros. Movie, branded merchandise has made a big impact. As for Wonka, chocolate controllers and Xbox-themed truffles are certainly unexpected. Will Timothée Chalamet’s character be a gamer in the movie?
