This comes after the double-vaccinated and twice-boosted First Lady contracted the virus for the third time in just 13 months. Whoopi Goldberg, who previously claimed to be “boosted within an inch of your life,” is also missing from “The View” due to her third bout with COVID. The excitement over the “plague” is palpable among the hosts.
Some People Just Don’t Learn
There’s a certain type of sanctimonious hypochondriac who secretly enjoyed the pandemic more than they care to admit. They can’t wait to wear a mask and show their supposed concern for others. To them, Fauci is a saint and his every word is gospel. Just when we thought we were done with him, he’s back on our TV screens, gaslighting us once again. During the height of the pandemic, Biden blindly followed Fauci’s advice, even jokingly directing him to take the vice president’s seat. Foolish indeed, but one would expect better from an expert like Fauci. Unfortunately, his recent CNN interview shows that he hasn’t learned a thing in almost three years. Despite countless flaws in his advice, including urging people to double mask, Fauci continues to double down on the effectiveness of masks, even when presented with evidence to the contrary.
Debunking the Fauci Disinformation
During the interview, Fauci claimed, “There’s no doubt that masks work.” However, CNN host Michael Smerconish pointed out that masks actually don’t work, citing a comprehensive Cochrane review of 78 high-quality scientific studies involving over 610,000 participants. The review concluded that masks are useless in stopping the transmission of the virus. Lead author Tom Jefferson stated, “There is just no evidence masks make any difference. Full stop.” Smerconish asked Fauci how he could refute such a clear finding. Fauci stumbled over his words, trying to defend his stance by mentioning other studies that supposedly show individual benefits. But this argument falls flat and lacks any logical coherence.
The Reasoning Doesn’t Hold Up
Not only did Fauci’s response make no sense, but even Jefferson himself called it out. He stated that Fauci’s claim that masks work for individuals but not at a population level is nonsensical. Jefferson questioned the so-called “other studies” that Fauci referenced, suggesting they may be unreliable and based on weak evidence. He emphasized that cloth and surgical masks cannot effectively stop viruses due to their small size. Furthermore, Jefferson criticized Fauci for not conducting a proper trial to determine the efficacy of masks, a failure that he finds unforgivable. Despite the mounting evidence against masks, Fauci remains unapologetic and steadfast in his position, unwilling to admit the disaster caused by his flawed advice.
The Lack of Humility
What truly irks people about Fauci is his utter lack of humility. He shows no remorse or acknowledgment of the havoc he unleashed upon America and the world. Instead, he exudes arrogance, a characteristic often found in those who hold positions of power for too long. Fauci basks in the flattery of scientists who depend on him for grant money, and it is becoming increasingly evident that he knew far more about the origins of the virus than he let on. He failed to disclose important information to President Trump and the coronavirus task force, including the likelihood of the virus being engineered and his involvement in funding risky research at the Wuhan lab. Yet, he arrogantly claims that attacks on him are attacks on science while disregarding scientific data when it contradicts his narrative.
Shokin’s Safety Concerns
Viktor Shokin, the former Ukrainian Prosecutor General, is living in fear for his life. At 70 years old, he believes that the rocket wreckage found in his backyard serves as a warning from President Biden’s allies to silence him. Shokin has already survived two assassination attempts, including mercury poisoning that nearly killed him in 2019. Now, with the recent rocket debris, he worries that his house could become a target disguised as a war accident. Shokin suspects that Biden intends to use Ukrainian law enforcement agencies to prevent him from providing truthful testimony against the President. In this time of full-scale war in Ukraine and upcoming US presidential elections, Shokin believes that Biden could use either Russian or Ukrainian agencies to discredit or eliminate him. He has reported the rocket debris to the Ukrainian National Police out of concern for his safety.
