The loss was a humbling experience for Prescott and the Cowboys, who now have a 3-2 record for the season.

“I didn’t see it coming,” Prescott admitted. “We put everything into this game and got completely overwhelmed. This is the most humbling game I’ve ever been a part of.”

“We felt confident in our preparation and our abilities going into this game, but the 49ers outplayed us in every aspect,” he added.

This defeat ranks among one of the worst losses for Dallas in recent memory. The team also suffered a 49-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints back in 2013.
