Admittedly, Biden may not be the most inspiring option as he is 80 years old and occasionally displays rhetorical and physical stumbling. However, Boot argued that Biden’s successful performance in office contradicts the image of a doddering leader.
Ultimately, Boot concluded that those who prioritize the preservation of American democracy and the U.S.-led world order have no choice but to support Biden in 2024, despite any reservations they may have.
