West Virginia Resident Records Stunning Early Morning Sky Explosion – NASA Confirms Comet as the Source

West Virginia Man Captures Spectacular Moment of Fireball Explosion in the Sky – Confirmed as a Comet Fragment by NASA

During his attempt to capture the supermoon on camera, amateur astronomer Bill Stewart was treated to a magnificent spectacle when a colossal fireball exploded in the sky. As it plummeted from space, the fireball produced two distinct booms, leaving Stewart awestruck on his West Virginia rooftop.

This celestial display, however, was witnessed by more than just Stewart – there have been over 70 sighting reports from nine US states, including Georgia and Ohio.

NASA has since verified the event, confirming that the fireball was likely a 75-pound comet fragment hurtling through the atmosphere at 37,000 miles per hour.
