“Love is Blind” alum Jessica Batten has entered motherhood with the arrival of her first child.
Over the weekend, the Netflix star and her husband, Benjamin McGrath, shared the news on Instagram, revealing that they are now proud parents.
Introducing their baby boy, Dax, the reality actor captivated the carousel of photos featuring their beautiful newborn. She also disclosed the birth date, June 9, 2023.
Baby Dax joins their blended family, as Batten and McGrath already have a daughter named Poppy, 7, and a son named Ethan, 6, from McGrath’s previous relationship.
Back in October 2021, shortly after their engagement, Batten expressed her joy and fulfillment of being a stepmom to McGrath’s children.
In an exclusive interview with People, Batten revealed, “It’s been an amazing experience and a three-for-one deal for me. I couldn’t have predicted this, but I can’t imagine my life without them. They hold a special place in my heart.”
She further added, “Although it requires sacrifices, it is incredibly rewarding. After being on my own for so long, or just with my dog Payton, having them in my life has completely changed my perspective.”
Batten is not the only “Love is Blind” alum embracing parenthood. In April, Bartise Bowden from Season 3 shared the news of his first child on Instagram.
The 27-year-old wrote, “I may have been the villain on TV, but I will be a hero for him. Say hello to my little man, Instagram,” accompanied by a series of heartwarming snapshots and videos introducing his son to the world.
