A small plane landing in Somalia veered off the runway and crashed into a fence, resulting in the aircraft breaking into pieces.
According to the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), there were no fatalities in the accident, only minor injuries. The SCAA has assured that a preliminary report will be released once the ongoing investigation concludes.
Video footage captured the moment of the crash at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu on Tuesday, showing the plane skidding off the tarmac, bursting through a protective barrier, and causing the wing to explode and other parts of the aircraft to fall off.
The flight operated by Halla Airlines was carrying 30 passengers and four crew members during its landing attempt at around 12:30 p.m. local time, as reported by VOA Somalia.

The pilot did not report any issues to air traffic control prior to the incident.
