Vanna White Secures Lucrative Deal, Continues ‘Wheel of Fortune’ for Two More Exciting Seasons

Vanna White’s contract on “Wheel of Fortune” has been extended for two years as the show enters its final season with host Pat Sajak.

White has signed a contract extension that ensures her presence on the enduring syndicated game show until the 2025-26 TV season. Earlier this year, Sajak announced his plan to retire at the end of Season 41, which just began. Ryan Seacrest, known for his previous work on “American Idol” and “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” is set to take over as the host in the 2024-25 season.

“Wheel of Fortune” and its companion show “Jeopardy” have been staples of early evening TV in the United States since the mid-1980s. Both shows are produced by Sony Pictures Television and distributed by CBS Media Ventures.

Another change for “Wheel of Fortune” is the retirement of longtime director Robert Ennis, who has passed the torch to Alex Van Wagner. Van Wagner’s experience includes working on shows like “Shark Tank,” “Holey Moley,” “The Voice,” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Maggie Sajak, the daughter of Pat Sajak, will have an expanded role as the show’s social media correspondent in the upcoming year. She will embark on a recurring “Fan Fridays” segment, where she will tour various locations such as Newport, R.I., Portland, Maine, New York City, and several spots in Europe, in partnership with guided tour company Collette.

Season 41 of “Wheel of Fortune” will primarily focus on Pat Sajak’s farewell tour, marking his remarkable tenure as a TV game show host. The show also plans to feature theme weeks around holidays like Halloween and interest groups such as veterans and teachers.
