Valley Glen Shooting Leaves Two Dead and One in Critical Condition

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into a tragic shooting incident near a smoke shop in Valley Glen. This incident resulted in the loss of two lives and left another individual critically wounded.

The shooting took place at around 10 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Victory Boulevard, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department.

One of the victims who succumbed to their injuries has been identified as Arkadi Simonyan, a 44-year-old resident of Los Angeles. The name of the second victim has not been released pending notification of family members.

The third injured individual was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The LAPD is currently investigating this survivor as a potential suspect in the shooting.

According to the Los Angeles Times, an argument among a group of individuals at a strip mall escalated to the point where two men drew their guns and fired multiple shots.

LAPD Captain Brian O’Connor has confirmed that no other suspects are being pursued in connection with the incident, as reported by The Times.

The argument and subsequent shooting may have stemmed from a car crash involving a Mercedes SUV and a Mercedes sedan, according to The Times.

Aerial news footage displayed a car with bullet holes in its windshield parked in the strip mall parking lot, close to where the victims were discovered by police.
