Happy Wednesday, everyone! America’s beginnings were remarkable. With people united, laws in place, and a secure border, military, and law enforcement, prosperity followed closely. However, success breeds complacency, leading to a false sense of security, decline, and eventual destruction. This happens when simple minds can afford to ignore threats and develop “luxury beliefs” untethered from reality. They see villains as heroes, labeling anyone who disagrees as oppressors. In reality, these “oppressors” protect society from theft, violence, drug abuse, and public defecation—a.k.a. San Francisco’s walking tour.
Unfortunately, luxury beliefs can turn deadly. Just last week in Philadelphia, a left-wing activist named Josh Kruger was brutally murdered in his own home. Kruger previously downplayed the violence gripping cities like Philly. While his murder is tragic, it highlights the naivety of luxury beliefs. Another left-wing activist, Ryan Carson, was fatally stabbed in Brooklyn. His death is no laughing matter. Carson likely believed that labeling some individuals dangerous or crazy was prejudice. However, those who sold him this idea, often progressive professors, weren’t around to help him that night.
Remember the anti-police activist who was carjacked? Her luxury beliefs cost her a luxury car. Progressive beliefs are like peacock feathers—showy and attractive to predators. Even liberal professors lack the courage to intervene in dangerous situations. It seems that reality is slowly catching up even with the New York Times, which recently admitted that America’s cities are spiraling into crises. Homelessness, drug overdoses, violent crime, and mental illness plague these urban areas, eroding public safety.
Despite mounting evidence, some diehard believers refuse to wake up. In Chattanooga, a father of three was murdered by an individual with 66 prior arrests. The mayor dismisses it as senseless gun violence, but it’s actually sanctioned criminal behavior resulting from blind activist faith. The high priests of luxury beliefs are the Washington Dems who not only preach, but enforce their ideology—often putting their own lives at risk.
A clear example of this is the recent carjacking of Democratic Congressman Henry Cuellar in D.C. He had a gun shoved in his face by three young carjackers, who remain at large. Carjackings in the nation’s capital are up 106%. When questioned about this, the White House flack dodged the issue, emphasizing that there is always more work to be done.
While Democrats ignore the growing crisis, the rest of us take note. Retailers closing their stores in cities like Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland, Portland, and New York signal the surrender to violence. The truth is, luxury beliefs are not just foolish but fatal. Progressives need to wake up and realize that their ideology is putting them in danger. The progressive filter denies reality and labels caution as discriminatory. This refusal to acknowledge threats leaves individuals vulnerable to harm.
It’s time for a change. Republicans, despite their faults, live in the real world. They recognize that luxury beliefs lead to dire consequences. Social justice should come with a warning label: Believing in this nonsense may cost you your life. Let’s hope that progressives grasp the truth before it’s too late.
