He appreciates how the new truck maintains the same frame and bed dimensions as the older model, allowing him to effortlessly transition his gear and accessories from his old truck to the new one.

The current Frontier is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. While the V6 engine is not entirely new, it has proven reliable and has been used in the Frontier since 2020. With direct fuel injection and electronically controlled continuously variable valve timing, this engine produces 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. Fletch appreciates the fact that this drivetrain design has been around for a few years and has established its durability.
Although Fletch has mainly driven the Frontier within the city limits, he has managed to average an impressive 19.5 miles per gallon. This is a significant improvement compared to the 10 mpg he used to get with his old Frontier, which was equipped with a five-speed transmission, 35-inch tires, and loaded with gear.
