PlayStation 5 owners have recently discovered a hidden setting on their controller that can greatly enhance their gaming experience.
Despite being released over three years ago, players have just now uncovered this fantastic feature.
Since its launch in 2020, the latest PlayStation has sold an impressive 38.5 million units.
One standout addition that differentiates it from the PlayStation 4 is the create button, which allows users to record game clips and take screenshots.
However, players are just realizing that this button can be customized, enabling them to record videos longer than the default 15-second duration.

These screenshots and videos have become widely popular among streamers who create gaming content for online platforms.
The create button is located on the top left side of the controller’s touch pad.
By tapping the button once, players are presented with the option to take a screenshot or start screen recording. Long-pressing the button also allows for quick screenshot capture.
To record longer videos, players can make specific adjustments in the settings.
First, they need to navigate to the settings menu and select “Captures and Broadcasts,” followed by “Captures.”
Within the “Shortcuts for Create Button” section, players can customize the button’s functionality to best suit their needs.
There are three options available: Standard, Easy Screenshots, and Easy Video Clips.
With the standard setting, players can take a screenshot by pressing and holding the button, and start/stop recording a video by double-clicking it. Single-clicking displays the Create control quick menu.
If players choose Easy Screenshots, they can capture a screenshot with a single click, and the quick menu is accessed by long-pressing the button.
For streamers or those who prefer video recording, the Easy Video Clips option offers the same screenshot functionality as the Standard setting, but with additional video options.
