Unveiling the Bizarre Spider-Man 2 Glitch: Spidey Transforms into a Crime-Fighting Tofu Cube

Spider-Man 2 players have discovered a bug that transforms the web-slinging superhero into a white, tofu-like cube.

Insomniac Games exceeded players’ expectations with their 2023 release of Spider-Man 2. While some fans had mixed feelings about the ending, the game has been highly acclaimed for its innovative gameplay and enhanced spidey-sense.

Building upon the success of Marvel’s Spider-Man, this Sony-exclusive game features the same iconic storytelling, but with Venom and Kraven the Hunter as the villains this time around.

Fans and gamers also praised the 2020 release of Miles Morales as one of the best Marvel games. However, it was not without its bugs, including one that would transform players into random objects.

Now, the transformation bug seems to have carried over from Miles Morales to Spider-Man 2. One player shared a clip of Spider-Man swinging between buildings as a tofu cube.

Another player quickly took to social media to share footage of Spider-Man turning into a random white block, saying, “I encountered this bug where almost all of my suits became invisible and turned Spider-Man into a white cube. HELP.”

However, players were surprised to find out that they were not the only ones experiencing this issue. A similar bug was also present in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, as one player remarked, “I swear the Miles Morales game had this exact glitch, but you would transform into all sorts of objects and sh*t.”

While Marvel fans had a laugh and debated what the white cube resembled the most, whether a “tofu cube” or the “blender default cube,” some saw the potential for a new Spider-Man 2 game mode: “So you’re saying it could have been possible to play prop hunt in a Spider-Man game… That NEEDS to be a thing.”

Despite this, players were not genuinely upset by the bug and found it amusing. They believed that the game had exceeded expectations with its 19 iconic characters.
