Unveiling Sydney’s Fashion Icons: Kate Waterhouse and Erin Holland Shine at TAB Everest race day at Royal Randwick Racecourse

Sydney’s most fashionable socialites turned heads at the TAB Everest race day at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday. Leading the pack was former Miss World Australia, Erin Holland, looking stunning in a structured royal blue mini-dress and a matching silk scarf. She completed her ensemble with a striking hat and accessorized with Bulgari jewelry.
Another standout was writer and socialite Kate Waterhouse, who opted for a lighter shade of blue in a striped frock from designer Rebecca Valance. She complemented her look with a baby pink clutch from Paco Rabanne and a matching pink fascinator.
Antonia Kidman’s daughter, Lucia Hawley, looked lovely in a strapless white dress that accentuated her slender figure. Instead of a traditional hat, she wore a baby blue headband. Lucia, following in the footsteps of her famous mother and aunt, Nicole Kidman, is making her mark as a red carpet reporter for 7Bravo.
Model Nikki Phillips also embraced the blue theme, opting for a conservative long-sleeved dress paired with a black designer handbag and stilettos.
Married At First Sight star Evelyn Ellis turned heads in a white ensemble consisting of a satin corset and tulle skirt. She completed her look with a wide-brimmed powder blue hat. She was accompanied by her MAFS co-star and boyfriend, Rupert Bugden.
Dannii Minogue’s ex-boyfriend Kris Smith represented the men in a dapper cream suit with a striped dress shirt underneath. Smith, a longtime Myer ambassador, recently celebrated his first anniversary with wife Sarah Boulazeris. They tied the knot in a secret ceremony last October and have two children together.
In addition to the stylish attendees, this year’s races are expected to draw the largest crowd since before the Covid pandemic. To celebrate, punters can indulge in four delicious cocktails on tap, including a pink gin spritz, mojito, margarita, and blue lagoon. Aqua blue Kombi vans with drink taps on the side will be stationed throughout the grounds.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample the cocktails for $12 each and cast their vote for the Official Everest Drink. The winning cocktail will become the official drink of the prestigious event for years to come. Voters will also be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a generous $2,000 prize.
TAB Everest Day will feature 12 of the best and fastest horse sprinters competing for a massive $20 million in prize money. This glamorous event is not only the richest race in Australia but also the richest race on turf worldwide.
Off the track, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with the racing elite while dressed to impress. Share or comment on this article: Kate Waterhouse and Erin Holland lead the stylish pack at TAB Everest race day at Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney.
