Unveiling Shocking Police Incident in London: D.A. Breaks Silence with Crucial Details

Prosecutors in the Jonathan Majors case have uncovered a previously undisclosed incident involving London police, which they believe is pertinent to their domestic violence accusations.

Majors was apprehended on March 25 in Manhattan and is charged with assault and aggravated harassment following an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

In a newly obtained 115-page filing from Variety, prosecutors are seeking a copy of a London Metropolitan Police report from September 2022. While the contents of the report remain unclear, the filing mentions medical care received by Jabbari during that time. Jabbari, a U.K. citizen, was in London, where Majors was filming the second season of the Disney+ Marvel series “Loki.”

This development emerges just a day before Majors is due to appear in court for his domestic violence case. Wednesday’s court appearance is expected to be one of the final pre-trial hearings before the judge decides whether to proceed with or dismiss the case.

The extensive filing from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office responds to the actor’s motion to dismiss the case. While it does not provide a complete overview of the D.A.’s case, it aims to offer sufficient details to move the case toward trial. Previous reports from Variety have indicated that additional alleged victims have come forward to cooperate with the D.A.’s office.

The filing also accuses Majors’ legal team of leaking and misrepresenting court evidence, as well as attempting to create a wanted poster with Jabbari’s photo. It dismisses recent media reports claiming that the D.A. plans to charge Jabbari with domestic violence as alleged by Majors.

The document provides new details about the events leading to Majors’ arrest. According to the filing, on March 25, Majors and Jabbari were in a private car service traveling from a party in Brooklyn to their apartment in Chelsea. Jabbari, who worked as a movement coach on Disney’s Marvel film “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” saw a text message on Majors’ phone that read, “Wish I was kissing you right now.”

She allegedly took the phone from his hands to see who sent the message. Majors then proceeded to physically assault Jabbari, causing bruising, swelling, and substantial pain. The filing states that Majors grabbed Jabbari’s arm, twisted her forearm, and struck her ear, resulting in a laceration and significant pain.

After retrieving his phone, Majors exited the vehicle, and Jabbari attempted to follow him. Majors then grabbed and threw her back inside the vehicle, causing additional injuries.

The filing challenges media leaks that portray Jabbari as the aggressor. Majors’ defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry, has claimed that it was Jabbari who assaulted Majors. Majors has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Majors’ legal team has previously alleged the existence of a video showing bystanders calling 911 and an NYPD patrol car responding to the location. However, the filing casts doubt on these claims, stating that an unrelated taxi was pulled over nearby, but it is not connected to the case. It further alleges that there were no other police reports or emergency calls from the scene that night.

Chaudhry has maintained that there is evidence clearing Majors of any wrongdoing, including surveillance video showing Jabbari unharmed after the alleged assault. However, the filing contradicts this assertion, claiming that the video actually captures Jabbari visibly upset and seeking help from strangers.

Majors’ defense team has accused the D.A. of withholding relevant information. However, the filing states that the D.A. has disclosed significant discovery materials, including NYPD memo books, phone records, medical records, search warrants, surveillance videos, and witness interview notes.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office and Majors’ attorneys declined to comment on the matter.

Following the allegations against Majors, his PR team at the Lede Company and his management at Entertainment 360 dropped him. However, he is still represented by WME. Majors has been removed from the film “The Man in My Basement,” but another project, “Magazine Dreams,” is still scheduled for release in December.
