Unveiling Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra: Unleashing Unmatched Power and Enhanced Performance

The recent leaks of the Galaxy S24 have unveiled significant changes that Samsung is implementing in its flagship smartphones. However, new information adds weight to concerns that the company will reintroduce one of its most controversial alterations to the Galaxy S family.

Several leaks have indicated that Samsung plans to offer a combination of Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets across its range. As Exynos chipsets are perceived to be less efficient and less powerful, many of Samsung’s fans may have no alternative but to purchase a handset with the inferior system-on-chip.

Unlike previous years, the current Galaxy S23 lineup exclusively utilizes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This decision was widely embraced by the community who were accustomed to the previous divided portfolio—a problem made worse by each region having an exclusive choice with no option to pay extra for the preferred silicon.

Given the launch of the Exynos 2400 last month, it was widely expected that Samsung would employ its own silicon in some of the Galaxy S24 hardware. Qualcomm has tacitly confirmed this approach.

During Qualcomm’s earnings call, CEO Cristiano Amon announced that the company would capture a significant portion of the market share for Galaxy S24 devices. Considering that Qualcomm had a 100 percent share in the Galaxy S23 lineup in 2023, it is evident that Samsung will once again divide its handsets between the two silicon options.

However, there is good news for those seeking maximum power. The high-end Galaxy S24 Ultra will exclusively feature Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Those in the community who prioritize power can rest assured knowing that the S24 Ultra will come equipped with their desired chip.

As for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, the community eagerly awaits the revelation of which of the two choices they will be offered.

Various notable features are making a return in the Galaxy S4 Ultra, as Samsung recently certified the S-Pen stylus. Additionally, the S24 family is expected to be the first Samsung smartphones to come with satellite communications as a standard feature.

In the past few years, Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy S devices in the week preceding Mobile World Congress in February. However, 2024 is expected to witness a deviation from this pattern, with discussions pointing towards a mid-January release date for the latest flagships.
