The long-awaited season 2 of Invincible is now available for streaming on Prime Video. This animated series, centered around a teenage superhero, was originally scheduled to premiere on Friday (Nov. 3), but it arrived slightly earlier, surprising fans on Thursday evening.
Based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible first premiered in 2021. The story follows an 18-year-old superhero named Mark Grayson.
In season 2, Mark is dealing with the aftermath of Nolan’s betrayal and strives to rebuild his life. He faces new threats and battles with the fear of becoming like his father unknowingly. The season premiere features Radiohead’s “Karma Police.”
The talented cast of Invincible includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen, and J.K. Simmons.
The executive producers of Invincible are Seth Rogen, Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, Evan Goldberg, Helen Leigh, and Cory Walker. Robert Kirkman also directed the series.
