Unleash the Power: Discover ABT Urus Scatenato with 810 Horsepower and Unparalleled Exclusivity

ABT Sportsline, the premier tuner for the VW Group, is venturing into the world of Lamborghini with its latest project: the ABT Urus Scatenato. In Italian, “Scatenato” translates to “unleashed” or “raging wild.” Limited to just 99 units, the Urus Scatenato lives up to its name by delivering a combination of top-notch performance and exclusivity.

Following its approach with Audi sedans and wagons, ABT takes the performance-oriented versions of the Lamborghini Urus and gives them a power boost, along with subtle design enhancements. The Urus Performante, already a beast with its twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 666 horsepower, receives an additional 144 hp through ABT’s Power R technology.

To handle the extra power, ABT enhances the aerodynamics of the Urus Scatenato. The SUV receives a cohesive spoiler with a center blade at the front, along with a modified rear skirt and wing to accentuate the Urus’ aggressive look and generate additional downforce.

Continuing the theme of subtle enhancements, carbon fiber is used extensively throughout the Urus Scatenato. It adorns the engine compartment cover, release, and engine cover. Inside, glossy exposed carbon fiber dominates the design, covering the seat frame trim, gearshift, and other trim pieces.

The exterior also features exposed carbon fiber on the mirror caps, wing flares, side skirts, and hood vents. This adds to the menacing appeal, complemented by the ABT High-Performance IRL 23-inch wheels. Furthermore, the exhaust system, equipped with ABT 4-pipe titanium tailpipe tips, provides the perfect soundtrack for the Sctenato’s V8.

The Urus Scatenato shares similarities with another ABT creation, the Audi RS Q8 Signature Edition. Both models utilize the same platform as the Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus, and they feature a variant of the 4.0 twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 790 hp. The Urus Scatenato boasts impressive acceleration, going from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in just 3.2 seconds. With enough space to stretch its legs, it can reach a top speed of 196 mph, making it noticeably faster than the stock RS Q8.

While ABT has not provided specific performance numbers for the Urus Scatenato, it’s safe to assume that this unleashed version of the Urus will offer similar improvements. Considering that the stock Urus Performante already outperforms a Porsche Cayman GTS 4.0 around Hockenheim, the additional 144 hp will undoubtedly take it to new heights.
