Season of Blood: Unique Malignant Rings and the Abattoir of Zir

In response to community feedback, the Season of the Malignant brings five unique Malignant Rings with popular powers. In the Season of Blood, the Occultist will now display a preview of available potential affixes before enchanting an item, based on player feedback. Combined with earlier changes to the enchanting system, this will help optimize item customization for the endgame.
In the Seasonal Realm, courageous adventurers can challenge themselves in the grueling Abattoir of Zir from December 5 to January 23. After completing the final tier of the Season Journey, enter the Visceral Channel to push the limits of your Vampiric Powers in this Seasonal Event. It is recommended to bring your best builds and powerful characters at Level 100. Rewards earned in the Abattoir of Zir will last until the end of the Season of Blood.

The denizens of Fractured Peaks face disruption from savage Blightfiends. From December 5 to December 21, eliminate the cursed fiends and be prepared for a visit from the Red Cloaked Horror. Restore the Midwinter Square and protect the festive good tidings!

Weekly Leaderboards: The Gauntlet
In January, the next Season of Diablo IV brings The Gauntlet, a challenge where players can test their skills in the Seasonal Realm. The Gauntlet is a non-linear dungeon with a set layout, requiring mastery and skill to achieve high scores. Proofs of Might can be collected by slaying monsters and destroying items within the Gauntlet, contributing to the overall score. Weekly Leaderboards track scores for Hardcore and Normal characters, party size, and classes. The top players from each week will be immortalized in the permanent Leaderboard, the Hall of the Ancients. With each week’s reset, the layout of The Gauntlet will also change, so be ready to refine your builds and emerge victorious.
