“The Daily Show” Returns with Hilarious Jordan Klepper Bits Outside MAGA Rallies
After a long hiatus due to the writers strike, “The Daily Show” is finally back on air with fresh content. And with its return, correspondent Jordan Klepper is back at it, amusingly tormenting Donald Trump supporters outside of Make America Great Again (MAGA) rallies. Klepper’s latest observation? Trump’s mug shot ― which was taken when he turned himself in for the Georgia election interference case ― has become a must-have piece of MAGA merchandise.
However, Klepper couldn’t resist pointing out a major flaw in a supporter’s T-shirt. The shirt featured Trump’s mug shot along with the phrase “never surrender.” Naturally, Klepper had to question, “What is Trump doing here on this shirt?” The supporter earnestly replied, “This is his mug shot.” Seizing the opportunity, Klepper playfully responded, “Gotcha! So that was taken when he surrendered to authorities to have his picture taken.” The Trump supporter was left momentarily speechless before finally replying, “Huh?”
Another Trump fan, deeply obsessed with President Joe Biden and allegations against his son Hunter Biden, insisted that both should be in jail for treason. According to the supporter, they were “taking money from other countries who we’re not really in favor of.” Klepper, in agreement but with a twist, added, “It’s insane. The fact that you can have a member of your family get billions of dollars from Saudi Arabia is nuts, right?” To which the supporter eagerly exclaimed, “Yeah!” Klepper then cleverly pushed further, suggesting that Trump should also face punishment for the money Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump received from Saudi Arabia. The duo had secured a whopping $2 billion investment from the Saudi government shortly after leaving the White House, where they both served as Trump advisors.
