Uncover the Mystery: Reward for Information on Body Discovered in Abandoned Pub Freezer

Detectives investigating the mysterious case of a missing man, whose body was recently found in a freezer after almost ten years, have announced a generous £20,000 reward for any valuable information.

The remains of Roy Bigg were discovered in October 2021, hidden in the basement of what used to be Simpson’s Wine Bar in the Forest Gate area of east London.

Despite two years passing since the discovery, the police still require assistance in “identifying the responsible party,” according to their latest statement.

Mr. Bigg had been reported missing in early 2012.

Builders working at the abandoned venue stumbled upon his body, which suggests that it had been stored in the freezer for numerous years. Authorities estimate that he was around 70 years old at the time of his demise.

Det Ch Insp Kelly Allen expressed the need for public cooperation, stating, “While our investigation and previous appeals to the media have provided us with some information about Roy’s life, we still require your help in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for his fate.”

She also revealed that there had been no confirmed sightings of Mr. Bigg during the entire nine-year period that he was missing. “Any details you can provide may prove invaluable in unraveling this mysterious case,” she emphasized.

A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive regarding the cause of death, and dental records had to be used for identification purposes.
