Glendale Police Arrest Two Suspects in Food Truck Stabbing Incident
In an incident that left two victims hospitalized, the Glendale Police Department has announced the arrest of two suspects connected to a stabbing at a food truck. The incident took place on June 14, around 11 p.m., in the 300 block of West Broadway, near Central Avenue. Sgt. Victor Jackson, the public information officer for the Glendale Police Department, provided details about the incident.
According to Jackson, two men approached the food truck and brandished a knife. A male customer bravely intervened, but unfortunately, he was also stabbed during the altercation.
Thankfully, both victims were immediately taken to a hospital and their injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
The suspects have been identified as 23-year-old Jerald Zaroukian from Northridge and 28-year-old Guadalupe Reyna from Bakersfield. Notably, Zaroukian was already on probation and had been previously arrested by the Glendale Police Department.
After thorough detective work, the suspects were located at Zaroukian’s residence in Northridge. To ensure the safe apprehension of the suspects, the Glendale Police Department’s SWAT team was requested to assist in the operation.
Both victims have since been released from the hospital and are currently recovering from their injuries.
