Travis Kelce’s Mom Reveals NFL’s Profits Amid Taylor Swift Rumors – They’re Laughing All the Way to the Bank!

Prepare for an NFL frenzy as rumors of a blossoming romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift continue to make headlines.

Donna Kelce, mother of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has shared her thoughts on the league capitalizing on her son’s love life.

“The NFL is laughing all the way to the bank,” Donna shared on the “Got It From My Momma” podcast. “Good for them. They’re reaping the benefits of all this attention.”

Ever since Swift’s first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, where she joined Donna in a suite, the NFL’s viewership has skyrocketed.

Just last week, when the Grammy-winning singer attended the Chiefs-Jets game with a star-studded group of celebrities, including Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Blake Lively, and Sophie Turner, the game attracted an average of 27 million viewers. It was the second most-watched game since the Super Bowl.

In addition to the surge in viewership, Travis witnessed a remarkable 400% increase in sales of his #87 Chiefs jersey.

“The Kelce family has done more good PR for football than any million-dollar PR firm could,” Donna revealed. She also mentioned that the family’s relatability and authenticity have resonated with fans.

Donna shared that Swift’s presence has drawn in a new wave of fans who now have a deeper understanding of football. She mentioned how one father messaged her, expressing his joy that his daughter now enjoys watching football.

Since Swift started attending games, Donna and her sons have experienced an overwhelming amount of publicity. Donna described it as being in an alternate universe and a whirlwind of events.

“They are overdoing it a bit for sure, especially in my situation,” Travis shared on their “New Heights” podcast. “They’re just trying to have fun with it.”

NBC even showcased Swift in the suite at MetLife Stadium 17 times during the Chiefs’ win over the Jets.

“Damn, that’s crazy,” Travis reacted. “That’s like once a drive. Mom told me everyone was having a blast.”

“They are not there to be constantly shown on TV,” Travis continued. “You never know when you’ll be caught eating a big burger and end up looking like a fool. There are certain things you just don’t want to be televised all the time.”
