Donna shared that Swift’s presence has drawn in a new wave of fans who now have a deeper understanding of football. She mentioned how one father messaged her, expressing his joy that his daughter now enjoys watching football.
Since Swift started attending games, Donna and her sons have experienced an overwhelming amount of publicity. Donna described it as being in an alternate universe and a whirlwind of events.
Travis and Kelce recently addressed the NFL’s coverage of Swift’s newfound interest in football. Travis admitted that he believes it’s becoming a bit excessive.
“They are overdoing it a bit for sure, especially in my situation,” Travis shared on their “New Heights” podcast. “They’re just trying to have fun with it.”
NBC even showcased Swift in the suite at MetLife Stadium 17 times during the Chiefs’ win over the Jets.
“Damn, that’s crazy,” Travis reacted. “That’s like once a drive. Mom told me everyone was having a blast.”
“They are not there to be constantly shown on TV,” Travis continued. “You never know when you’ll be caught eating a big burger and end up looking like a fool. There are certain things you just don’t want to be televised all the time.”
