Travis Barker has a rather unconventional name in mind: Rocky 13.
During an episode of Complex’s “GOAT Talk,” the Blink-182 drummer appeared alongside his daughter, Alabama Barker, where he shared his ideal baby name. Barker stated, “I like Rocky 13.”
“That’s just this name that’s been going through my head lately,” Barker explained.
Not surprisingly, Alabama strongly disagreed with her father’s suggested name, describing it as “so bad.”
Barker, who is 47 years old, further elaborated on his fondness for the name. He mentioned that it references one of his favorite musicians and one of his favorite movies.
“It is. It is bad,” Barker admitted, before adding, “Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies, and 13 is just the greatest number of all time. And ‘Rocky,’ the greatest boxing movie of all time.”
Alabama quickly pointed out that naming her baby brother Rocky 13 could potentially lead to problems at school.
“Let’s see how this goes when he’s at school… ‘Rocky! 13…’,” she warned her father.
Although Barker favors the name Rocky 13, it appears that he and his wife have already settled on a different name.
In late June, Kardashian posted photos on Instagram of her and Barker posing with a drum set at their gender reveal party. Her caption read, “Little drummer boy coming soon.”
Barker commented, “I already know his name.”
It is unlikely that Kardashian will go along with Barker’s name idea, but fans will have to wait and see what they choose when the baby arrives in a few months.
