Ashley Graham hosts HGTV’s new series “Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge,” which premiered on Sunday. The show features HGTV stars and a Food Network star competing against each other to transform a Southern California home into a real-life Barbie Dreamhouse.
In this unique competition, the designers form teams of two to represent a Barbie superfan, with the winning team’s fan earning the opportunity to stay in the transformed dreamhouse. Each team is assigned a specific area of the house to renovate, along with a decade to draw inspiration from for their design.
In the first episode, Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson from “Married to Real Estate” went head-to-head with Jasmine Roth from “Help! I Wrecked My House” and Antonia Lofaso, a renowned Food Network personality.
Sherrod and Jackson focused on creating the 1990s aesthetic in the dreamhouse’s entryway, living room, and dining room. Meanwhile, Roth and Lofaso took on the challenge of transforming the kitchen and family room with a 1960s style. The teams had one week to complete their renovations.
