Tragic Incident at Pearland Flea Market Claims Child’s Life – A horrifying incident occurred at Cole’s Flea Market in Pearland, Texas, resulting in the untimely death of a child due to a shooting on Sunday. Pearland Police Department’s Public Information Officer, Chad Rogers, revealed that the distressing event took place at approximately 5:34 p.m. on N. Main Street.

Rogers disclosed that among the five victims involved in the shooting, three were adults, and the other two were children, with their precise ages remaining undisclosed. All the injured individuals have been transferred to nearby medical facilities. Tragically, one of the children succumbed to their injuries, while the conditions of the other victims remain unknown.

According to Rogers, the shooting was a result of a disturbance between two individuals that escalated into gunfire. The intense exchange of gunfire does not seem to be a targeted attack specifically aimed at the flea market, as revealed by Rogers.

The Houston Police Department and Harris County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office are collaborating with Pearland Police in managing the aftermath of the situation. As the area is still an active scene, the public has been advised to avoid the vicinity. Furthermore, Highway 35 is temporarily shut down from Knapp Road to Beltway 8 during the course of the investigation.
