However, authorities believe this was not a murder-suicide and it was not a random act of violence. According to neighbors in Romeoville, who spoke to CBS Chicago, the family had recently moved to the area and kept to themselves. “They seemed like a close-knit family and were quite private,” mentioned one neighbor to ABC 7 Chicago. “They often enjoyed spending time together in their backyard, and both parents worked different shifts, so they crossed paths briefly.
