A pilot tragically lost his life after the plane he was flying as part of an extravagant gender reveal party in Mexico crashed on Sunday.
A viral video circulating online depicts the plane emitting pink smoke as it soars above a couple waiting in front of a sign that proclaims “Oh baby,” surrounded by pink and blue balloons.
Shockingly, the footage captures the moment the plane’s left wing detaches from the main body as it distances itself from the group of people below.
According to the authorities in Navolato, Sinaloa state, the pilot succumbed to his injuries in the hospital following the crash.
Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance to the pilot at the crash site in San Pedro, Navolato, before transporting him to a local hospital, where he tragically passed away, according to Alan Francisco Rangel of the Sinaloa Red Cross.
The pilot’s identity has not been revealed, and the exact cause of the crash remains unknown to authorities.
Thankfully, no additional injuries were reported as a result of this tragic incident.
