The National Hurricane Center is currently monitoring a low-pressure system located over the eastern subtropical Atlantic.
Forecasted as Invest 90L, it is expected to travel north-northeastward at 20 to 25 mph towards colder waters, developing more pronounced frontal features over the next day or so, effectively ending its chances of subtropical or tropical development, as per NHC.
With a low chance of formation at present, this system poses no threat to Florida or the rest of the U.S. The 2023 Atlantic hurricane season is expected to end on Nov. 30.
