Phew. That was quite an exciting finish. Standings updates and a race report from my colleague on the scene will be coming shortly. Thank you all for your messages, and now it’s time for me to wrap up and get ready for my post-live blog bike ride.

Vingegaard is catching up, but Pogacar manages to cross the line with him. These two are neck and neck, but Pogacar gave it his all. Rodriguez follows shortly after to secure his third place in the General Classification.

Pogacar makes another move with 500m to go, but Vingegaard stays with him. There’s still 700m left.

This is tense. Only 1km left. What will happen? I’m on the edge of my seat.

The yellow jersey group has 2km remaining. The trio is still together, with Yates maintaining his lead. Van Aert finishes second, 2min 5sec behind.

Adam Yates just broke away from Pogacar and Vingegaard. Rodriguez catches up. What’s going on?

Wout Poels of Bahrain Victorious wins stage 15!!

Wout Poels takes the stage win! It’s been a grueling day in the mountains, but the Bahrain Victorious rider delivered an outstanding performance.

With 1km to go, Poels has a lead of over 1min 30sec, but van Aert is fighting to hold on for second place. Remarkable ride from the Belgian considering the challenging climbs in this stage.

In the yellow jersey group, Gaudu, Rodriguez, and Kuss have been dropped. It’s now only Adam Yates, Pogacar, and Vingegaard.

Poels’ lead continues to grow with 3km remaining. It’s now over 1min. He’s unstoppable. Meanwhile, Hindley falls behind the yellow jersey group, but Rodriguez and Gaudu are still hanging on. Could the final podium positions be decided today?

Pidcock rejoins the yellow jersey group with an impressive descent. He had been dropped on Côte des Amerands.

Back to the action. Poels has extended his lead over van Aert to 40sec in the battle of the Wouts. The stage win seems within Poels’ grasp.

As the lead riders start the ascent up Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc, let me share the words Tom from North Carolina sent me earlier: “So excited about today’s stage to the top of Mont Blanc! Who do you think will win: Pogi or Jonas?”

UAE Emirates has taken control of the yellow jersey group and is pushing hard up the Côte des Amerands. Poels has a 30sec advantage over Soler and van Aert at the top of the climb. Now they head straight for the final climb.

Warren Barguil of Arkéa–Samsic seems to have good form as he breaks away from the chase group. Van Baarle has finished his turn on the front.
