WEEK 8 FANTASY FOOTBALL PREVIEWS
** BYES: NONE **

Buccaneers at Bills, TNF

The Buccaneers allow the highest percentage of first downs on third down (48.9%) — the Browns are lowest (27.5). Rachaad White has only had two games with over 39 rushing yards — 56 and 73 — and has not yet hit 100 total yards. Mike Evans ranks in the top 20 in yards per reception, touchdown/target ratio, percentage of receptions of 20+ yards, and team air yard percentage among all receivers with 10+ receptions. With Dawson Knox out, Dalton Kincaid finally has a chance to be a TE1 option.

Rams at Cowboys, 1 p.m.

The Cowboys have the league’s highest pressure rate (50.2%) — the Browns and Jets are next at 42.9% and 41.5%. Only the Browns allow fewer plays per game (54.8) than the Cowboys (57.8). Cooper Kupp had his first single-digit fantasy point game since Week 4, 2021 (13-5-64-0; 8.9 points), excluding the game he got injured in Week 10 last year. Since Kupp’s return, Puka Nacua ranks fifth in target percentage (36.6) and 13th in fantasy points per game (13.5).

Vikings at Packers, 1 p.m.

The Vikings still don’t have a rushing touchdown, while the Bengals, Broncos, Buccaneers, and Texans all have just one. The Vikings are also one of seven teams with only one game hitting the over. Jordan Love ranks near the bottom in yards per attempt and yards per completion since his Week 1 start. After Week 3, he has the third-lowest touchdown-to-interception ratio and second-lowest expected points added per dropback.

Falcons at Titans, 1 p.m.

The Falcons defense has become the toughest rushing matchup by expected points added. The Titans have the fewest passing touchdowns this season. Drake London has emerged as a top-20 wide receiver in fantasy points per game and ranks 13th in receiving yards among wideouts. Derrick Henry has had a solid scoring range in games with at least 75% of the RB touches, but lower fantasy point totals in the other games.

Saints at Colts, 1 p.m.

The Colts defense allows the most plays per game, along with the Jets and Steelers. Since his return, Alvin Kamara leads running backs in targets and receptions, ranking highly even among wide receivers and tight ends. Jonathan Taylor’s workload percentage has increased steadily since his first game back. Chris Olave has the lowest reception percentage among the top 10 receivers in targets, and Michael Pittman is right behind him.

Patriots at Dolphins, 1 p.m.

Only three running backs with 4+ goal line rushes have a touchdown rate over 50%. The Dolphins lead the league in explosive play percentage, while the Patriots allow the lowest yards per carry. The Jets have the lowest third-down conversion success rate, and the Giants have the lowest touchdown percentage on total plays.
