Since the end of the writers strike, late-night TV has seen a host of superstars making appearances.
However, the end of the actors strike paints a different picture.
More from Deadline
As a result of the end of the actors strike, stars will now have the opportunity to promote films and series that were previously affected, leading to a flood of new bookings on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Daily Show.
For example, NBC has made changes to its guest lineup for Friday night’s The Tonight Show by adding Marvel stars Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson at the last minute.
The Loki star and The Marvels star will join Eric Idle, and musical guests Rick Ross and Meek Mill for the show at the end of the week.
Hiddleston and Larson now have the opportunity to promote their Marvel projects, with the second-season finale of Loki airing soon and The Marvels, featuring Larson as Carol Danvers, set for release in theaters this weekend.
Expect more big names to join the late-night circuit in the coming weeks and beyond.
Despite the actors strike, the late-night shows have successfully booked actors to discuss non-struck work, such as Brian Cox promoting Amazon reality series 007: Road to a Million, as well as Yellowstone star Luke Grimes promoting his music on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
In fact, Jared Leto will be appearing on The Tonight Show to discuss his band 30 Seconds to Mars and his climb up the Empire State Building to announce a new tour.
On Late Night with Seth Meyers, Hilary Duff will now be able to talk about the ending of How I Met Your Father, in addition to discussing her new book My Sweet Little Boy.
