Tom Cruise in Awe of ‘Goddess’ Janet Jackson: Recognizing Her as a Legend

Tom Cruise expressed his admiration for Janet Jackson, referring to her as a “goddess.” The actor attended Jackson’s live performance during his day off in May and couldn’t help but praise her. According to Cruise, “she’s a legend” and he encourages everyone to go see her show.

After attending the concert, Cruise and Jackson shared a sweet moment together, which Jackson captured in an Instagram post. In the post, she referred to Cruise as “T,” revealing her affectionate nickname for him.

When asked about the nickname, Cruise humbly stated that Jackson can call him whatever she wants because she is a goddess in his eyes. The 60-year-old actor expressed his admiration for Jackson and seemed honored to be friends with her.

During the world premiere of “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One” in Rome, Cruise looked stylish in a blue suit layered over a matching vest. He accessorized with sunglasses and black dress shoes, all while maintaining his signature tousled hair.

Reflecting on the success of the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, Cruise admitted that he still feels amazed and grateful every day. He recalled his humble beginnings as a young actor and filmmaker, never imagining that he would be in Rome premiering his latest film.

The production of the two-part “Mission: Impossible” finale faced delays due to the pandemic. However, “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One” will be released in US theaters on July 12, with “Dead Reckoning Part Two” set to premiere on June 28, 2024.
