Tom Brady terminates construction plans previously made with Gisele Bündchen

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen have decided to scrap their original plans for their shared marital home on Indian Creek Island. The couple, who purchased the land for $17 million in 2020, had extensive floor plans that included a variety of amenities such as a yoga terrace, organic garden, meditation garden, and pickleball court, along with luxurious bathroom suites and multiple kitchens. However, recent records obtained by The Post reveal that these plans have been terminated according to Florida Statute. All workers and lienors have been paid in full for their services.

Instead, Tom Brady has embarked on a new project for his own bachelor pad. The retired NFL star has secured a hefty $35 million construction loan with an 8.25% annual interest rate. The new plans outline a two-story single-family residence with additional features like a security building, gym, cabana, pool, sport court, emergency systems, landscaping, and septic system. While the previous marital home would have spanned 17,000 square feet, Brady’s new abode is expected to be over 20,200 square feet.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen announced their divorce last year but plan to co-parent their children in South Florida. The previous construction on the Indian Creek Island property was halted during the divorce proceedings, with Brady eventually being awarded the property. Prior to their separation, the couple resided in a waterfront home nearby and opted for temporary housing afterwards. Bündchen purchased a waterfront property in Surfside, while Brady leased a luxury condo at the Fendi Château Residences building in the same area. With their new living arrangements, both Bündchen and Brady are focusing on creating their own independent spaces.
