TikTokers Go Viral with Hilarious Parodies of YouTuber’s Unusual Ukulele Apology Song

YouTuber Colleen Ballinger has responded to allegations of inappropriate behavior with fans in a creative and unique way. She posted a 10-minute ukulele song on YouTube titled “hi,” which has been dubbed “Toxic Gossip Train,” and has since gone viral. However, many people who accused Ballinger are expressing anger towards the video. As a result, TikTokers have started creating their own parody versions of the song.

Ballinger is known for her fictional character Miranda Sings, who gained popularity in the 2010s. Over the years, accusations have been made against Ballinger, including sending lingerie to a 13-year-old fan. After taking time away from social media, Ballinger released a video in which she denied being a “groomer” and explained her past interactions with fans.

The video has garnered over 7.8 million views and sparked a meme. Comedian and “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel even made a parody version of the video, mimicking Ballinger’s apology style.

Other TikTokers, such as Amanda Nolan and Chris Quazzo, have also created parody videos based on Ballinger’s song. Nolan parodied influencers like Shane Dawson and Jaclyn Hill, while Quazzo rapped over the sound of Ballinger’s ukulele apology song.

In addition to the parodies, TikTok user @fleetwoodmacarena posted a video pretending to apologize for eating a human being, echoing Ballinger’s lyrics. Many of the people who accused Ballinger have expressed anger towards her apology, including Adam McIntyre, who responded with his own song titled “hi.”

Additionally, YouTuber Trisha Paytas, who was collaborating with Ballinger on a podcast, expressed shock over Ballinger’s video and stated their firm stance against talking to anyone underage.

As of now, Ballinger has not responded to Insider’s request for comment.
