TikTok User Reveals Her Experience Catching Boyfriend Cheating

  • A creative TikToker shared her clever tactics to catch her cheating boyfriend.
  • Her plan involved catfishing him by pretending to be a girl he knew.
  • As revenge, she invited him to a fake date venue that turned out to be a psychiatric hospital.

A TikToker recounts a series of “toxic” tactics she employed to successfully expose her cheating boyfriend.

Tabitha Mae, a TikTok influencer with 19,000 followers, recently shared a video detailing her strategies. However, the accuracy of her claims cannot be verified by Insider.

Mae reveals how she caught her unnamed boyfriend red-handed while he was living in Montreal, Canada.

To create a believable persona, she repurposed an old Instagram account that already had a few followers. Using only a cropped photo of her body, she catfished her boyfriend.

Despite her doubts, the plan worked, as Mae successfully manipulated her boyfriend and caught him in the act.

Mae’s video contributes to a popular trend on TikTok where individuals share stories of revenge against those who have wronged them. While the veracity of these stories is often questionable, they resonate with many people who have experienced infidelity or mistreatment.

She communicated with her boyfriend in French to match his living location in Quebec. It’s unclear where Mae was at the time.

Another scheme involved Mae noticing a girl wearing a red jacket in the background of her boyfriend’s Instagram story. She proceeded to impersonate the girl by using an app to change her phone number.

When her boyfriend questioned her identity as “Laura,” Mae quickly improvised by claiming she had to use a friend’s phone due to breaking her own. Surprisingly, he bought the explanation.

To extract a confession, Mae strategically asked her boyfriend, “Are we just not going to talk about last night?” Initially, he feigned ignorance, but soon confirmed Mae’s suspicions.

With some help from her friend, who convinced her to lure her boyfriend, Mae arranged a meeting with the fake girl. She provided him with an address that turned out to be a psychiatric institute, further exposing his infidelity.

Mae’s initial video gained over 700,000 views, prompting her to share a follow-up video on Monday.

In this second video, Mae detailed her experiences with another ex-boyfriend named Tyler, who started spending time with a girl named Olivia.

Suspicions arose regarding their relationship, prompting Mae to investigate Tyler’s phone. While she didn’t find any messages from an Olivia, she meticulously inspected each contact until she stumbled upon a conversation about ice cream with Ben & Jerry’s.

This discovery presented Mae with a choice: confront Tyler with tears or have a bit of fun. She opted for the latter and devised a plan with her friend.

Together, they sent a bowl of ice cream to Tyler’s doorstep with a note that read “Special delivery from Ben & Jerry’s.” Tyler immediately called Mae to apologize, but she responded to everything as if they were discussing ice cream flavors.

Mae advises against replicating her methods but invites others to share screenshots of their own experiences for a shared laugh.
