Actress Tiffany Haddish was arrested for suspected DUI by the Beverly Hills Police Department early Friday morning.
Law enforcement officials responded to a call at 5:45 a.m. PST and took her into custody, as reported by CNN.
According to TMZ, Haddish was found asleep in her parked vehicle with the engine running, although no accident was involved.
CNN has reached out to Haddish’s representatives for a comment.
Haddish had performed at The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood for the comedy club’s Thanksgiving feast prior to her arrest.
This is not the first time Haddish has been arrested for DUI, as she was previously detained in Peachtree City, Georgia in 2022.
During an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” Haddish addressed the previous incident, expressing her plans to resolve the matter with a lawyer.
Haddish humorously shared her experience with Fallon, joking about praying for a good man and getting “four in a uniform” instead.
She also reiterated her reliance on faith and her focus on improving her life during the show.
Haddish, known for her stand-up comedy and role in “Girls Trip,” has appeared in several television shows.
