TORONTO — Prepare to be amazed as Canadian rockers Nickelback, South African rapper Sho Madjozi, and Finn Wolfhard’s
band The Aubreys take the stage at the Toronto International Film Festival’s annual street party. This exciting
event will feature free outdoor concerts and screenings for the first four days of the film marathon. Nickelback
will perform an open-air show on September 8th, right after the premiere of their documentary, “Hate to Love:
Nickelback.” The Aubreys, fronted by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard, will perform on September 9th, a day
prior to his directorial debut in the slasher film “Hell of a Summer.” Sho Madjozi will take the stage later
that evening, followed by a closing performance from Canadian rap veteran Michie Mee on September 10th, which
coincides with the 50th anniversary of the birth of hip hop.
The festivities will take place along a four-block stretch of King Street West and will also include food vendors
and open-air screenings. These screenings will feature a memorial tribute to Paul Reubens with “Pee-Wee’s Big
Adventure” as well as a 30th-anniversary screening of “Addams Family Values.”
