The Ultimate Electric Land Rover Yacht Buggy: A Sensational Revelation of the Day!

Electric vehicle retromodder Everrati has introduced the “Shore Tender,” a customized Land Rover Defender converted into an electric golf cart for transporting high-net-worth individuals around the marina and other locations. The fully electrified Defender is designed to be stored and charged on a superyacht, ready for post-docking tours. The concept behind the Shore Tender is to eliminate emissions and maintain a pristine environment while shuttling guests between luxurious destinations. However, some find the concept phony and smug, especially considering the iconic and capable nature of the original Land Rover Defender. Despite the criticism, Everrati has teamed up with superyacht designers Bannenberg & Rowell and yacht sales and charter firm Edmiston to add yacht-inspired details to the Shore Tender, such as a champagne chiller and removable tie-off capstans. The vehicle accommodates multiple passengers, with a troop carrier-style layout and his-and-her-style pair options. Everrati has not released detailed specifications or pricing for the Shore Tender but guarantees a bespoke electric powertrain and components. The regular Land Rover Defender e-restomod starts at £185,000.
