The Real-Life Appearance of the ‘Human Resources’ Cast

Aidy Bryant takes on the role of the lead character, Emmy the Lovebug, in the series “Human Resources.” In this spin-off of “Big Mouth,” the focus shifts from a group of teenagers to the hormone monsters and other creatures that control their emotions. Bryant’s Emmy is promoted to a full-time Lovebug, responsible for guiding humans in their ability to love. However, she must learn to manage her own life in order to effectively help her clients.

Joining Bryant is Keke Palmer, who plays Rochelle, a fellow Lovebug. Rochelle, who previously appeared as Missy’s “Hate Worm” in season 5 of “Big Mouth,” is portrayed as ambitious and competitive in her job.

Providing the voice of reason is Randall Park, known for his role in “Wandavision,” who plays Pete in “Human Resources.” Pete is depicted as a big nerd just looking to connect with his co-workers despite their differences.

The series also features Hugh Jackman as the sexy Addiction Angel, Dante. Addiction Angels tempt humans with various vices, and Dante uses his charm to ensnare some of the other monsters in “Human Resources.”

Nick Kroll, co-creator of “Big Mouth,” reprises his role as Maury the hormone monster in the spin-off. He encourages his clients to embrace their desires, no matter how unconventional they may seem.

Maya Rudolph also returns from the main series as Connie, the lovable Hormone Monstress who has an on-again, off-again relationship with Maury.

Thandiwe Newton portrays Mona, Missy’s British Hormone Monstress, known for her role in “Westworld.” Mona is outspoken and rebellious, always encouraging others to challenge the status quo.

David Thewlis returns as Lionel, the Shame Wizard introduced in season 2 of “Big Mouth.” Lionel continues to torment monsters and humans alike in “Human Resources.”

Lupita Nyong’o joins the cast as another Shame Wizard named Asha, who becomes a romantic interest for Lionel.

Helen Mirren takes on the role of Rita, a renowned Shame Wizard and author, and Lionel’s mother. Mirren’s character refuses to show affection to her son.

Maria Bamford lends her voice to Tito the Anxiety Mosquito and Kitty Dukakis, the Depression Cat. Both characters manipulate and interact with the new Lovebug, Emmy.

Brandon Kyle Goodman reprises his role as Walter, the passionate Lovebug, in “Human Resources.” Walter remains committed to helping his client humans find love.

Finally, Pamela Adlon rounds out the main cast as Sonya, a no-nonsense Lovebug who undergoes a career change after being fired for breaking a rule.
